Facing Cancer Together

Living with cancer presents many challenges, not only to the one with the diagnosis but also to those who share life with that loved one. Feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, and isolation can be overwhelming, especially if you’re trying to do it all alone. But scripture reminds us of God’s intention for us to look to one another for help, especially in difficult times:

“It’s better to have a partner than go it alone… By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst.” Ecclesiastes 4:9 & 12, The Message

Facing Cancer Together includes cancer survivors and their spouses, caregivers or friends who are walking through the cancer journey together. Realizing that the usual weekly support meeting may be too demanding, we will offer monthly meetings with new topics and a time for group sharing.

Classes will begin on Tuesdays in the Fall of 2019.
