My body hates sugar. Note that I didn’t say “I hate sugar” only that my body hates it. In fact, I sometimes crave sugar and sweets. But when physical ailments began to have their say, I realized it was time to give it up. I started on a popular anti-inflammatory diet and within days my body quit complaining. It even immediately began to drop weight. I felt better, had more energy and even looked better. I knew this would be good for me all along, but for some reason I didn’t want to go to the trouble; I was comfortable in my misery. Besides “I would do it one of these days.” But one of these days came and I had to relieve myself of my much loved temptations and comfort.

So, why is it that we crave what is not good for us? Why do we keep doing the same old things with the same old terrible results? We know what we need…we’ll do it “one of these days”. We carry excess weight, ailments, and basic misery because it just takes effort to make the commitment.

So now’s the time to take action about the other things that ail you:
· Addressing the grief of losing someone you love
· Moving on in a healthy way after a divorce
· Facing the hurt you’ve experienced from a church
· Dealing with past abuse
· Getting control of your addiction to porn and sex
· Finally forgiving someone

I know, I know…You’ll sign up for a support group ONE OF THESE DAYS. Friends, one of these days is August 23, 2016. One of these days is here. One of these days is now. (If I only had a dollar for everyone who said, “I wish I had attended this earlier…” )

“For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do…this I keep on doing.” Romans 7:19

Go to our website: and sign up. You’ll be glad you did! See you in August!
